Your translator

Need a birth certificate, diploma or legal contract translated without the risk of it being rejected by the authorities? I’ll take care of it.
Regular vs. sworn translator: understanding the difference
Many people confuse the two, yet in the eyes of the law their roles are very different.
A “regular” translator is a language professional who translates editorial, technical, business or marketing content, aiming to convey a message fluently for a target audience. However, their translation has no legal value.
As a sworn translator, I have taken an oath before a court. The state officially recognises me as the guarantor that a translation matches the original.
When I translate a birth certificate, a diploma or a divorce judgment, I add my official seal, a unique registration number and my signature. This turns the translation into an official document, recognised by German authorities and, as a rule, abroad.
My background
Welcome! I’m Epiphanie Herzog, a sworn translator based in Landau in der Pfalz.
Administrative and legal procedures quickly become complex. My role is to open international doors for you by giving your documents legal validity.
After a Master’s in Translation at the University of Germersheim, I was sworn in at the Higher Regional Court (Oberlandesgericht) of Zweibrücken. This allows me to certify translations of your documents — birth certificates, divorce judgments, articles of association, diplomas — with my official seal and signature.
Why work with me?
Because behind every document there is a life project or a major business matter. I work with absolute rigour, strictly respecting professional confidentiality and your deadlines.
A question or a document to translate? Feel free to contact me directly. I’ll gladly guide you through the process.
